    Obtains a license to sell imported shochu and launches Vietnamese shochu "Rua Moi". The company also obtains a license to produce shochu and makes a full-scale entry into the shochu business.

    Utsunomiya Beverage Factory obtains "License for Liqueur Production" and "License for Spirits Production" Released authentic barley shochu "Irohamaru".
